Henry Thomas Atkinson, 81, of Elkmont Route One, died at his home on April 5 at 12:45.
Funeral services were conducted at the Church of Christ by Brother M. A. Creel. Interment followed in New Garden Cemetery, McConnell-Service directing.
He is survived by his widow; three sons, Tillman, Grady and Alvin; six daughters, Mrs. James Vaughn of Athens Route four, Mrs. Rufus Gowen, Mrs. Howard Hogan and Mrs. Joe Hargrove of Elkmont, Mrs. H.M. Pressnell of Elkmont Route One and Mrs. Al Bartoo of Nashville.
