Married to Dessa Irene Pearce. Father to Vere A., Lionel P., Nada, Irma, Ben M., and Richard W. Keller.
He farmed the early years of his life and around 1925 moved to Lincoln, Nebraska and spent the remainder of his life in that city.
In his later years he was a guard at the Nebraska State Penitentary. He was a very quiet and un-assuming man who loved to play solitaire on the giant oak table in the dinning room. His favorite name for me was "girlie" and when ever I hear that word today I think of him.
