Son of Abraham & Rebecca DeBolt Keller. Husband of Edla Ekberg born 1887 Nebraska and father to one son, Venzel, born 1913 in Iowa.

They were married in Council Bluffs, Iowa where Oliver worked as a barber. From letters I have it appears that Oliver and baby, Venzel contracted TB.

As a family they moved to the mountains of Montana for a few years. It appears that Oliver was suffering from TB and the hope was the mountain air would help. They returned to Iowa where he died of TB after a severe illness of one year in Iowa. At this time his wife and son were in Omaha, Nebraska where Venzel was in the TB ward of the hospital.

Edla, his wife, and son moved to California after Olivers death where she remarried to Harry Baldwin several years later. In Dec. 1931 she was struck & killed by a car. Venzel had died only several months earlier in July 1931. .

It appears from all records found that Venzel also had contracted TB and as early as his seventh birthday he was in a TB sanitorium in Nebraska. When he and his Mother moved to California he also was in a sanitorium and this is where he died of TB.

Named after his Uncle Oliver Perry Lovitt
