Mrs. Best, who was 75 years of age, was a native of Okolona, the daughter of the late Jack and Hallie Abbott. She was a member of the Episcopal Church of Redeemer. Mrs. Best died Sunday in the Orangeburg Regional Hospital following an extended illness.
She leaves her husband, Frank B. Best, Sr. of Orangeburg; two sons;Frank B. Best, Jr., and Abbott Best, both of Orangeburg; two sisters, Mrs.William A. (Emily) Hendricks and Mrs. J. B. (Louise) Ellis, both of Orangeburg; one brother, Jack Abbott of Carters, Georgia; three granddaughters, Mrs. Frank P. (Charlotte) Seignious III of Orangeburg, Mrs. Thomas O. (Emily) Dawkins of Amarillo, Texas, and Mrs. Samuel H. (Frances) Graves of Dipwich, Mass.; one grandson, Guy Watkins Best of Orangeburg; and five great grandchildren.
