A daughter of Conrad 'Coon' Adams and Hannah Markle. Mary married Thomas Anderson Davis on January 17, 1873 in Porter Twp., Clarion Co., PA by M. Arnold, JP.
The Davis and Adams families used a Flatboat to travel down the Allegeny and Ohio Rivers, then up the Kanawha and Elk Rivers to settle in WV. Mary Davis gave birth to Ben on this trip. They settled on the Saddleback Mountain, Clay, WV
