Betty was born in Bloomington, Idaho on October 11, 1928 a daughter of William Henry and Vesta Thompson Bateman.
She graduated from Fielding High School in Paris, Idaho.
Betty married Frank D Talbot on October 10, 1946 in Bloomington, Idaho, their marriage was solemnized on October 10, 1950 in the Logan LDS Temple. They had been married 62 years at the time of Frank's passing on December 8, 2008.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Betty enjoyed being with family, crocheting doilies and afghans, making pies and rolls, sewing, maintaining a clean and beautiful home.
Surviving are her children: Phyllis (Dale) Lee, Layton, UT; Judy Talbot, Perry, UT; Nancy (Larry) Boyer, Brigham City, UT; 11 grandchildren 26 great-grandchildren and her dear best friend Charlene Allred.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary Chapel, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, UT.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 12:30 to 1:40 p.m. at the Mortuary.
Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
