Frank D. Talbot

BRIGHAM CITY - Frank D. Talbot, 84, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2008 at his home.
Frank was born in Ogden, Utah on March 21, 1924 a son of Merlin Alma and Margaret Isabella Hunter Talbot. He attended Ogden High and Weber High.

Frank married Betty Bateman on October 10, 1946 in Bloomington, Idaho. On their wedding anniversary on October 10, 1948 they were sealed in the Logan Temple.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was a High Priest. He was active in Boy Scouts and received the Silver Beaver Award in 1972.

He enjoyed fishing, fly-tying, crocheting and telling jokes.

Surviving are his wife, Betty, Brigham City; children: Phyllis (Dale) Lee, Layton; Judy Fryer, Perry; Nancy (Larry) Boyer, Brigham; nine grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren, also one sister, Mary Purcell, Layton; sister-in-law, Margaret Talbot, Salt Lake City.

Preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Vern and Eugene, sisters, Alice and Dora.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, UT.

Friends may call on Thursday from 11:00 to 12:45 p.m. at the Mortuary.

Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
