Mrs. Wanda Lee Dorse, age 83, of Ashdown, Arkansas, formerly of Fouke, Arkansas, died Thursday, February 2, 2012, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Dorse was born January 29, 1929, in Newport, Arkansas. She was of the Pentecostal faith and was a former employee of the Fouke Schools.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Dorse, two sons, DeWayne Dorse and Frank Dorse, and a son-in-law, Dennis Owens, Sr.
Survivors include one daughter, Nora Owens of Fouke, Arkansas, three sons and five daughters-in-law, Johnny and Carol Dorse of Fouke, Arkansas, Lucky and Brenda Dorse of Fouke, Arkansas, Charles and Vhonda Dorse of Ashdown, Arkansas,Lisa Dorse of DeQueen, Arkansas and Mary Dorse of Paris, Texas, two sisters, Marcelle Lingle and Dorothy Britt of Newport, Arkansas, twenty-one grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 A. M. Monday at the Corinth Church of Christ in Fouke with Rev.Jonathan Dorse and Rev. Donnie Deloney officiating. Burial will be at Corinth Cemetery under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.
