Ellen Lingle, 68, of Newport departed this life Monday, August 1, 2016. She was born November 15, 1947 to Jake Prater and Rena Walls Barnhill. She was of the Pentecostal Faith, loved her children, grandchildren and her cat.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Billy Ray Lingle, her parents, and five sisters.
Her survivors are two sons; Larry Lingle (Misty) of Newport, and Chris Lingle (Julie) of Newport, two daughters; Billie Jean Burns (Tim) of Mountain View, and Ellen Tumey (Mark) of Newport, one sister; Dorothy Britt of Newport, fifteen grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
