Additional information as read in his obituary in The Montana Standard (Butte, Montana) on March 21. 1968, p. 9: Survivors include sisters: Mrs. Edna Meagher of Deer Lodge, and Mrs. Veona Melton of Page, Arizona; brothers: Hugh of Twin Bridges and Frank of Garrison. The Rev. Max Feuerstock officiated and burial was in Mountain View Cemetery.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday 20 March 1968 In Brundage Chapel for Everard "Rip" Turner 67 who died Saturday, 16 March 1968. He was a retired Beaverhead County ranch hand who died at his room in the Melten Motel at Dillon, Montana. The Reverend Ma x Feuerstock officiated and burial was in Mountain View Cemetery, Dillon, Montana.

A native of Butte, Montana, Mr. Turner was born 23 August 1900. He had been employed for many years on ranches in this area until illness forced his recent retirement. Burt Aliphant sang "In the Garden" and "Beyond the Sunset." Pallbearers were Lenard Lively, Elmer Sage, Eli Peterson, Charles Snodgross, John Knowll and Auston Parcell.
