Mrs. Ida Poorman Dies After Two Months Illness
Mrs. Ida Poorman, widow of M.L. Poorman, died at the Richland hospital on February 5th following an illness of two months. Mrs. Poorman, whose home was 437 North Church street, was a native of the town of Henrietta, where she was born on February 19, 1884. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Norman, early settlers of this county, and was married to M.L. Poorman in 1902, who passed away a number of years ago.
Survivors are two daughters, Myra, at home, and Mrs. Wesley Rundell, Terre Haute, Indiana; a son, Norman, Madison; a brother, Elmer Norman, Richland Center; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She also leaves many friends.
The Rev. Robert Trobaugh, pastor of the Methodist church, officiated at the funeral services which were held at the Lunenschloss-Hansen Funeral Home on Saturday afternoon with burial being made in the Richland Center cemetery.
