Frances Palmer dies at 74.
Mrs. Frances Elizabeth Palmer, 74, died at her home Monday at 9:10 p.m. after an illness of eight months. Funeral services will be held at Wesley Chapel, Savannah Hwy at 2 p.m. Wednesday Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Surviving is one son Floyd Palmer, Rt 4 Florence, and four daughters, Mrs. Marvin Lindsey, Florence, Mrs. Robert Joiner, Florence Rt 2, and Mrs. Roy Haddock, Florence. One sister Mrs. Bell Wesson, Florence Rt 2, Two brothers Willie Brewer, Florence, and Jim Brewer Marked Tree, Ark.
Rev Mack Burns of Wayne Co. Tenn., will officiate. Active bearers will be the grandchildren, Doyle Palmer, John Palmer, James Palmer, Ross Palmer, Charles Delano, and G.W. Lindsey.
Honorary bearers will be Wilburn Parrish, Floyd Barker, Ira Wright, Alvin Skipworth, Will Rhodes, Killie Jones, Dr. R. W. Moore, and Matthew Beavers. Spry of Florence is in charge of arrangements.
