"The death of Jesse Nellis, a former resident of Elk Creek, occurred Sunday at his home in Binghamton. He was 71 years old.
Mr. Nellis was born in Westville on April 25, 1890, a son of Edward and Clara (Milks) Nellis. He was a retired farmer.
He is survived by a nephew, Byron Dewey of Delmar, and a niece, Mrs. E.J. Butler of Rochester.
