Justin D. Doersam was a meat cutter for Thrasher's grocery in Chardon and Cahill's in Gates Mills before retiring in 1990.

From 1992 until 1997, he drove the Geauga County Public Library's Bookmobile.

Mr. Doersam, 67, of Chardon Township, died of a heart-related illness Tuesday, June 30, 1998 at the Heather Hill nursing home in Munson Township. He was born to Donnel J. and Irene (Culbertson) Doersam on November 2, 1930.

The Chardon native graduated from Chardon High School in 1948 and was in the Air Force during the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Ann (Wettstein) Doersam; daughters, Cherie Sniderman of Marietta, Ga., and Carole Ricci of Chardon; mother, Irene (Culbertson) Doersam of Ada, Ohio; four grandchildren; and a sister.

A memorial service will be at 8 p.m. today at Burr Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 116 South St., Chardon. He will be buried at the Chardon Municipal Cemetery in Chardon, Ohio.
