Edna Irene Culbertson Doersam was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Malvern S. and Edna F. (Mescall) Culbertson on September 13, 1908. She married Donnel Justin Doersam in Ashtabula, Ohio on December 22, 1927. To this union two children were born: Bette on April 16, 1928 and Justin D. on November 2, 1930.
Edna was a homemaker and lived in Chardon, Ohio with her family for 50 years. She and her husband, Donnel then moved to Ada, Ohio when he retired and they lived there for the 24 years. She moved to Lakeland, Florida five years ago.
Edna died at Oakbridge Healthcare Center in Lakeland, Florida on Thursday, May 12, 2005 of heart failure at the age of 96.
She is survived by four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and her sister, Catherine Wheeler of Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and both children.
Heath Funeral Chapel in Lakeland, Florida is in charge of arrangements. Her body was cremated.
