Billy Wade Tucker, 70, a resident of Cleveland, TN passed away Friday, January 27, 2012.
He was a member of Stuart Park Baptist Church. He was employed with the textile industry for many years.
He was a Veteran of the United States Army serving in Vietnam. He was a member of the VFW Post 2598, American Legion Post 81 and was an avid football fan.
Mr. Tucker was the son of the late Sam J. Tucker and Inez Almond Tucker and was also preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Mabel Gregory Tucker of Cleveland, TN; daughter, Karen Arthur and husband, Brent of Ocoee, TN; three grandchildren, Victoria Arthur, Madelyn Arthur and Braxton Arthur all of Ocoee, TN; one brother-in-law, Jim Smyre of Charlotte, NC; one niece and one nephew also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 31, 2012 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Daniel Malone officiating.
Burial will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.
The American Legion Post 81 and Christopher Dorn and Brent Arthur will serve as pallbearers.
His family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
