Frances Louise Tucker, 78, of Albemarie, N.C., and a native of Stanly County, N.C., died Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2007, at Stanly Regional Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her father, Samuel James Tucker; and mother, Inez Estelle Almond Tucker.
She was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
She was a spinner with Wiscassett Mills.
She loved her nieces and nephews. Her family was the center of her life. She was also a caregiver for her brother, Ralph.
Survivors include brothers: Bill W. Tucker of Cleveland and Ralph Lloyd Tucker of Albemarle; sisters: Polly Smyre of Charlotte, N.C., and Betty Pickler of Richfield, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 19, 2007, at Grace Baptist Church with the Rev. Scott Shoffner officiating.
Interment will be in Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery in Albemarie. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle.
