Chico Enterprise-Record, Chico, CA, Wednesday, March 11, 1987: "Harry Bisset. A funeral for life-long Chico resident Harry Edwin Bisset, 60, is scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday in the Brusie Funeral Home. He died Tuesday in a local hospital.

"He was born Jan. 15, 1927, to Joseph and Edith Bisset in Chico, where he was educated. He was a graduate of Chico High School. In 1941, he joined the Coast Guard and was discharged in 1944. He married Shirley Jane Albert 1948.

In 1944, he went to work for the Pacific Bell Telephone Co., retiring in 1978. He was a past member of the Chico Elks Lodge, a member of the Telephone Pioneers and a member of the Butte County Gleaners.

"The Rev. Wendell Pew of the First Christian Church will officiate at the service. Burial will be in the Glen Oaks Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday in the Brusie Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity in care of the funeral home."
