Mrs. Ruth Parker and children came to this place some days since from Illinois, and one of the children has died. Mrs. Parker and a son are now both dangerously ill from malignant typhoid fever, with slight hopes of recovery. They are at the the home of Mr. Wright, her father, who lives just north of the railroad.
The Cemetery office at Chapel Hill Gardens Cemetery confirmed that Jess and Ruth Randall are buried there, but there is no stone. They are buried in Lot 56 of "Prayer" section, Spaces 2 and 3. Jess was buried on May 28, 1947; Ruth was buried on February 9, 1953.
