Richard E. Beamer, 66, of Carlisle RD 1, Carlisle, died Tuesday in Seidle Memorial Hospital, Mechanicsburg.
He was the son of the late Mervin A. and Louise G. Miller Beamer. He retired from the Wilcox Manufacturing Company in Mechanicsburg in 1976 after 30 years service.
Surviving is his wife, Betty C. Myers Beamer; two daughters, Lorraine C. Sheller, Gardners, and Margaret M. Potteiger, Carlisle; three brothers, Glenn, Washington, DC; Raymond, Mechanicsburg; and Carl Beamer, Arizona; three sisters, Martha Ludwig, Mechanicsburg; and Ruth Frank and Gladys Anderson, both of Carlisle and three grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10: 30 a.m. Friday in Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle. Officiating will be George W. Dodez of the Jehovah's Witnesses. Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens.
There will be no viewing.
