BEAVER (sic) - HURLEY

Miss Mina Louella Hurley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Hurley, Newville R.R. 3, and Robert William Beaver (sic), Newville R.R. 1, were united in marriage on Saturday afternoon, January 19, at the parsonage of the Church of God in Newville, with the Rev. H.E. Wagner officiating. Louise Drexler was the maid of honor. The bride wore a light blue ensemble and a gardenia corsage.

The couple will reside in Carlisle.

BALTIMORE, Md. - Services for former Carlisle resident Robert William Beamer will be held Tuesday, Sept. 2.

He died Thursday at University Hospital, Baltimore.

Services are scheduled at 10 a.m. at the Myers Funeral Home, Westminister, Md. with Rev. Kenneth Humert officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg, Md. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 31.

Mr. Beamer, 52, was born May 30, 1923 in Idaville, Pa. He was a truck driver for Youngstown Cartage.

He was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church, Gamber, Md.

Surviving are his wife, C. Virginia Hughes Beamer; two daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Deanna) Leander, R.I.; Mrs. Jeffrey (Susie) Scott, Finksburg; four brothers, Richard E., Carlisle; Glenn E. Adelphi, Md.; Raymond A., Boiling Springs and Karl F., address unknown; four sisters, Mrs. Charles (Mildred) Penrow, Aberdeen, Md.; Mrs. Merle (Martha) Ludwig, Mechanicsburg; Mrs. Howard (Ruth) Frank and Mrs. Gladys Anderson, Carlisle; three grand-daughters.
