Born Sept. 11, 1918, in Elnora, she was the daughter of Jeff and Ora Lee Ellis Creech. She was a homemaker, a member of McHue United Methodist Church, was retired from the International Shoe Co. in Batesville and enjoyed blue-grass music.
Survivors include a son, Larry Apple of McHue; two brothers, Edward Creech and Gene Creech, both of Batesville; a sister, Floy Mohlke of Batesville; two grandsons, Brandon Apple and Brad Apple; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Woodrow Apple; a daughter, Londa Apple; two sisters, Ethel Barber and Audry Apple; and two brothers, Roy Creech and Turk Creech.
The funeral was at 10 this morning at Willis-Hays Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Steve Long officiating. Burial was in Hutchinson Mountain Cemetery
Pallbearers were Freddy Mohlke, Glen Mohlke, Carol Mohlke, Reggie Barber, Gerald Barber, Stan Apple and Gary Creech.
