She married Chris Mohlke of Jamestown on March 13, 1938 at her parent's home at Hutchinson. The couple lived in and around Hutchinson and then made their home at Jamestown.
She was a homemaker and was a member of the Jamestown Presbyterian Church until it was dissolved, at which time she moved her attendance to the Jamestown Methodist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Gwen Gibson of San Diego, CA; five sons, Glen Mohlke of Charlotte, Carrol Mohlke of Desha, Donnie Mohlke of Fayetteville, Jackie Mohlke of Batesville and Freddie Mohlke of Hutchinson; ten grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; one brother, Herbert Creech of Batesville and many loving nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers, Roy Creech and Charles "Turk" Creech both of Hutchinson and Gene Creech of McHue and three sisters, Ethel Barber of Hutchinson, Lois Apple of McHue and Audria Apple of Salado.
Services will be Saturday, July 11, 10:00 a.m., at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Steve Long and James Wheeler officiating.
Interment will be in the Oaklawn Cemetery in Batesville under the direction of Willis Funeral Service of Batesville.
Visitation is Friday evening from 5-7 p.m.
Pallbearers will be James Inman, Tom Inman, Larry Apple, Earvin Moser, Odell Moody and Gifford Mohlke.
Honorary pallbearers will be Gerald Barber, Lavaughn "Shorty" Coles, Walter Reed, Charles Gates, Scott Stalker, Carl Tate and Robert Simmons.
