Albert F. Oxenford of Quakertown died Sunday, July 9, in St. Lukes Quakertown Hospital. He was 77. Albert celebrated 41 years of marriage with his wife Rose (White) Oxenford in June.

Born in Pottstown, Pa., he was the son of the late Albert E. and Frances (Andryejewski) Oxenford.

Prior to his retirement, he worked as a bus drive for Levy School Bus Company for 13 years. Prior to that, he was employed for 32 years by Bethlehem Steel Corp.

Albert was an Air Force veteran serving during the Korean War.

He was a member of St. Isidores Catholic Church, Quakertown.

Albert and his wife loved to travel.

Survivors: Wife; three son, Michael E. and his wife Lynn of Hatfield, David A. and his wife Pam of Coopersburg, Charles P. and his wife Laurie of Quakertown; three daughters, Linda Nohejl and her husband Russell of Stroudsburg, Rosalie Karcher and her husband Patrick of Quakertown, Therese Loew and her husband Joe of Coopersburg; a brother, Joseph, and a sister, Joyce Hockman, both of Quakertown; 21 grandchildren. Albert was predeceased by a brother, Robert.

Services: A Mass will be held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Isidores Catholic Church, 2545 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown. Call 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday in C.R. Strunk Funeral Home Inc. (www.crstrunk.com), 821 W. Broad St., Quakertown.
