Joyce R. Hockman, 67, of Quakertown died February 9, 2011 in St. Lukes Hospital, Bethlehem. She was the wife of Lance D. Hockman with whom she would have celebrated 47 years of marriage on February 22.

Born in Quakertown she was the daughter of the late Albert E. and Frances (Andrzejewska) Oxenford.

She retired from Associated Rubber, Inc. in Quakertown, prior to that she worked at Delbar Products of Telford. Joyce enjoyed going to the New Jersey shore points with her family.

She was a member of St. Isidores Catholic Church in Quakertown.

Survivors: In addition to her husband she is survived by a daughter, Angela Joy Curley; and a son, Troy E., and his wife, Cherry, all of Quakertown; five grandchildren, Brandi, Courtney, Jacob, Nicholas, and Colton.

She was predeceased by her three brothers, Albert, Robert, and Joseph.

Services: A mass will be held on Monday, February 14, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Isidores Catholic Church 2545 W. Pumping Station Rd. Quakertown. Call 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the church. The C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) Quakertown is in charge of the arrangements.
