Leonard 'Coot' Cage

Services for Leonard "Coot" Cage, 86, of Heflin, will be 2 p. m. today at Rose-Neath Minden Chapel. Visitation will be until service time. Bro. Wayne Whitesides will officiate, with burial following at Bistineau Cemetery.

Mr. Cage, a former resident of Minden and born in Amite County, Miss., died Friday, Aug 29, 1997 in Heflin. He was a truck driver.

Survivors include his wife, Maria C. Cage of Heflin, two sons Leonard Thomas Cage and wife Clara of Dixie Inn and Ricky Leonard Cage and wife Pam of Heflin, one daughter, Betty Nell Cage Stone of Overton, Texas, one step-daughter, Mrs. Eddie Storment and husband John of Shreveport, nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and one great grandchild.
