William Lovic Cage

William Lovic Cage, 88, of Laird Hill, Texas passed away August 18 at his residence following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services were held today at 2 p.m. in the Minden Rose-Neath Chapel with Rev. Raymond Henson and Rev. Paul Cassels officiating. Interment followed in the Antioch Cemetery in Dixie Inn.

Mr. Cage was born in Liberty, Miss. had been a resident of Laird Hill for three and a half years. He was a retired farmer, Presbyterian and a member of the American Legion.
Survivors include one son, Byron L. Cage of Kilgore, Tex.; one daughter, Mrs. Shirley N. Prather of Rainbow, Texas; two sisters, Effie Merritt of Sibley and Mattie Carr of Shreveport; one brother, Leonard C. Cage of Heflin; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were nephews Thomas Jackson Cage, Raymond L. Walker, Harry J. Cage, Thomas Leonard Cage, Ricky L. Cage, and James Stone.
