FREEPORT, L.I., Aug 29- A brief service marked the funeral today of Louis Preston Stone, one of the last of the old-time frontiersmen and father of Fred Stone, the nationally known actor, held at Fulton's Parlors, 49 West Merrick Road. The Rev George Bulin of Christ Lutheran Church read the service and burial was in Greenfield Cemetery. Fred Stone, his wife and two daughters, Paula and Carol, were present; also Paul Stone, Fred's brother. Dorothy Stone is in Chicago. Several members of the old Freeport actor colony who knew Mr Stone well attended.
