"The first wife of John Richard Keating was Marie Louise WOOLWINE. Perhaps this name had some effect on the individual who provided the error on Ollie Don Britton's death certificate that his mother was Martha WOOLWEIGH."

His mother is Martha Jane Keating 1850-1900 and the marriage of his parents is recorded in Panola County, Texas, Marriage Book 67 - "William M. Britton and Martha Jane Keating were married March 21, 1872."

1800 Panola County, Texas Census - William M. Britton and wife, Martha J. are enumerated with 3 children including infant son, Ollie D. age 5/12. Martha Jane's half brother, George Martin (from her mother's 2nd marriage) was also in the household.

1900 Rusk County, Texas, Ollie D. Britton was enumerated in own household next household to parents, William Britton age 50, Martha J. age 50 and five siblings. He wife was Rena and had infant daughter, Gladis.

1900 Ollie D. Britton's mother, Martha Jane Keating Britton, died and was buried in County Line Cemetery which had been part of the plantation of her brother, John Richard Keating. John Richard Keating had died two years before. Her other Keating brother, James Wooten Keating, is the father of my grandfather, William Savage Keating, who knew her as a boy, called her Aunt Sis and visited her grave along with his Keating kin in this cemetery.

1910 Rusk County Census, Ollie D. Britton and his brother, John M. Britton had own households near their father, William M. Britton, "widowed 10 years" and single siblings."
