His TXDC says he died at his residence in Timpson, Rusk County, however Timpson is a city in Shelby County, Texas.

I don't believe the year of birth on marker is correct since he was not recorded in the 1880 census. He gave 1884 as year on his WWI Draft and 1883 on his WWII Draft.
