Gladys M. Bennett
Gladys M. Bennett, 90, 51 N.W. J St., died Saturday, Sept. 28, at Reid Memorial Hospital.
She was a native of Muncie, Ind., and had lived in Richmond since 1950. She was a member of the Lynn Weslyan Church.
Survivors include two sons, Virgil Bennett of Economy and Howard Bennett, of R. R. Williamsburg; two daughters, Roberta Overbey and Barbara Corn, both of Richmond; two sisters, Idabelle Webster of Leesburg, Ind., and Wilma Irene Johnson of Anderson; 18 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William M. Bennett, who died in 1981, and a son, Chester Bennett.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, with the Rev. Robert Malone officiating. Burial will be in Economy Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Smith & McQuiston Funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Lynn Weslyan Church.
