Carrie Esther Rau, 90, of 905 W. Eighth St., Roswell, N.M., died at her home Saturday.
She was born in Letart, W. VA., a daughter of the late Henry Clayton and Sara Wilson Pickens. She was a Baptist. She was employed as a seamstress.
She is survived by one daughter, Edna Tedrow of Roswell, N.M.; one sister, Frances Frazier of Parkersburg; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday at the Evergreen South Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, after 2 p.m. Thursday.
