Weakened by the shock of the death of her son, John G. Reinkens, who was killed in an automobile crash at Brady on Thursday morning, Mrs. John J. (Metzen) Reinkens (Catherina Margaretha), 78, died at the home of her son, Tony Reinkens west of Montesano, this Thursday, after an illness of a few hours. Funeral services will probably be held Saturday.
Mrs. Reinkens was born in Germany, December 12, 1850, and came to the United States 37 years ago. All of her life in this county had been spent in Grays Harbor county except for six years in Minnesota. For the past eight years she and her husband have made their home with their son Tony here.
