Mrs. Maude Givans Wright, 66 years, 10 months and 21 days old, passed away at Hardin Memorial Hospital, September 7, 1957. She had been ill the past five months, and in the hospital about ten days.

She was born in Meade County October 16, 1890, a daughter of George Givans and Edna Jupin Givans.

She was married to Mr. Grover Cleveland Wright, May 12, 1911, Mr. Wright preceded her in death.

She is survived by her son, Ned wright, of Brandenburg, two grandchildren, Melinda and Mark Wright; three brothers, Shelby and Max Givans of Brandenburg and George Givans of Anchorage, Kentucky.

Funeral services were held at Brandenburg Methodist Church of which she was a member, conducted by Rev. Robert E. Mann, assisted by Rev. D.N. Crenshaw. Burial was in Cap Anderson Cemetery, directed by Wright Funeral Home. Pallbearers were: Hayward Wardrip, Shelly Givans Jr., Alex Givans, Alex Talbert, George Shoulders and Damon Givans.
