BUCK, NOAH ALFRED – son of LANDON and MARGARET BUCK, was born May 2, 1877 and departed this life Dec. 14, 1961 at the age of 84 years, seven months and 12 days. He was united in marriage to MARGARET HULL on June 22, 1902 and they lived together 59 ½ years. To this union were born six children. He leaves to mourn his departure his faithful companion; four daughters and two sons; Mrs. C. R. DUNFORD and CLYDE BUCK of Armathwaite; Mrs. OSCAR RANGE and Mrs. WILLIAM BERRY of Dayton, Ohio; Capt. JOHN W. BUCK of the U. S. Air Force in Biloxi, Miss.; and Mrs. H. C. RICHARDSON of Stevenson, Ala.; one sister Mrs. JOSIE SNELLING of Armathwaite; 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. He professed a hope in Christ at the age of 16 and joined the Fellowship Church in October, 1893. He was later ordained a Deacon in 1912 and lived a faithful Christian Life. He loved his church and was regular in attendance as long as his health permitted, and dearly loved to sing the praises of God anywhere he was and never missed attending the Church Associations as long as he was able. He attended 30 sessions with out missing, he first attended the Association at Annadel, his last was Opossum Rock Church. He was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. One of the songs he loved so much was I Am on My Way to Heaven-When My Story has all been Told. He lived and told his story in everyday life and Heaven at last is his Reward.
