Barbara Jeanelle Arnsdorff Ackerman - MIDWAY - Barbara Jeanelle Arnsdorff Ackerman, 77, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2012 at Candler Hospital. Jeanelle was born in Guyton on January 20, 1934 and lived most of her life in Springfield and Rincon. She retired from Savannah Gas Light Co. in 1995 where she was employed for over 41 years, and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Rincon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene L. Ackerman; and parents, Felton and Lois Evans Arnsdorff. She is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Andrea and Steve Puckett of Midway; sisters, Rachel Buie of Bluffton, SC and Patricia Hall of Springfield; brother, Keith Arnsdorff of New York; and a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 3 p.m Wednesday followed by funeral services at 3 p.m. in the chapel. Interment will follow in Goshen United Methodist Church Cemetery. Thomas C.
