GLENVILLE BOY KILLED ON HIGHWAY
NORTHWOOD
Daniel Peter Callahan, 3 , son of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Callahan, near Gordonsville, was killed near here Friday night when he fell from the family car and was struck by another auto.
Sheriff A.J. Conner, Worth county reported hhat the father of the boy said that he was driving south on the highway and the child was in the rear seat. The rear door came open and the boy tumbled out into the path of a car going north. The car was driven by Melvin James of Northwood.
The sheriff said that the information received after the accident did not warrant further investigation. The mishap occurred two miles north of Northwood on Highway 65.
Daniel was born April 29, 1948 in Albert Lea.
He is survived by his parents
Six brothers and Six sisters
They were;
Vincent H.of Camp Rucker, Alabama
James of Albert Lea
Paul, Luke, Anthony and Micheal all at home.
Sisters are;
Mrs. Alan Aanerud of Albert Lea
Therese, Betty Ann, Maureen, Harriet and Judy at home.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in St.James church, Twin Lakes.
Burial will be in St. James cemetery.
