He married Georgia Ann Daniels January 15, 1895 in Yazoo Co., Ms. They had four daughters--Omah Arlene Mansfield, Nita Lucille Mansfield, Lila Alleyne Mansfield and Eloise Mansfield all born in Yazoo Co., Ms. Claibourne moved his family to McLennan County, Texas before 1920. He was listed in the WWI registration in McLennan Co., Tx.
