Della F. Sousa, age 78, passed away on September 2, 1995, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born January 22, 1917, in Pleasant Valley, Utah, to Horace and Josephine Bates. A fun-loving person who enjoyed making others laugh, she also enjoyed fishing, flowers, crafts, and puzzles.

She will be dearly missed by family, friends, and all who knew her.

Survived by daughter, Kathryn (Virgil) Staponski; sister, Florence (Fred) Dangerfield; brother, Cecil (Noma); and two grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, seven sisters, and three brothers.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, September 5, 1995, at 10 a.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road, where family and friends may call Monday, 6-8 p.m., and one hour prior to services. Interment will immediately follow services at the same location under the direction of Memorial Estates.
