Florence parted with her life here on earth to return to her Heavenly Father on August 24, 2007.Born to Horace Lyman and Josephine Nelson Bates in Callao, Utah (Juab County), the youngest of thirteen children. It was there she went to school and spent her younger years except for a few years in Ibapah and Gandy, Utah. Came to Salt Lake City in 1941 where she has lived since. Married to Fred W. Dangerfield, April 5, 1946. Employed by ZCMI for 29 years. She loved all things beautiful around her including music, flowers and precious dogs. Survived by her son, F. Craig Dangerfield; brother, Cecil Bates. Preceded in death by her husband, eight sisters and three brothers. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 30th, 11 a.m. at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 S. Redwood Road. A viewing will be held Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the mortuary and one hour prior to services.
