On the morning of Dec. 16, 2011, our loving mother, grandmother and friend peacefully passed from this world into the loving arms of her husband, family and friends who have gone before.
She was born Oct. 15, 1923. She was the oldest of six children born to Irvin and Alta Coombs in Fielding, Utah. She spent her childhood years in their home in Fielding and their summer home on the farm where she learned hard work, patience and endurance.
She met and married Dean Lamb, of Plymouth, in Malad, Idaho. It was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. They resided and raised their two children Terry Dean Lamb and Janet (Roland) Christensen in Plymouth, Utah.
She was very accomplished in many things. No one could cook, clean, garden or sew better than her. She was known for her Christmas candy, rolls and cinnamon rolls.
She was an active member in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in all organizations and was Relief Society and MIA President. She was the librarian for 31 years. She loved the temple and took great joy in attending regularly.
Surviving are her two children, Terry Dean Lamb and Janet (Roland) Christensen, four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren, brothers Keith and Theo Coombs, and her sister Carol Forsberg. She was preceded in death by her bothers Verl and Vernon Coombs, and her parents Irvin and Alta Coombs.

She had a great love for life and will be greatly missed. We all love and honor her example.
All services will be held at the Belmont Ward Church house, 16025 N. 5200 W., Riverside with a viewing, Monday, Dec. 19, form 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday Dec. 20, at 11 a.m., with a viewing prior from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Interment will be at the Plymouth Cemetery.
