MRS. SWEARENGIN, 60-year Resident,
Dies On Monday
Funeral services for Mrs. Agnes Swearengin, 82, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct 10 at Sardy Mortuary in Aspen.
Rev. Keith Merriman of Aspen Community Church officiated. Burial followed in Red Butte Cemetery.
Mrs. Swearengin died Monday Oct. 7. She had been ill for three months. An Aspen resident for the past 60 years, she had resided in a house on Durant Avenue next to the Blue Spruce Lodge. Her husband died in 1949. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. T. E. Ashcroft of Aspen; a grandson, Edward Ashcroft, Chicago; two brothers, Less and Lou Spencer, and two sisters, Mrs. Lille Johnson and Mrs. Mary Allen, all of whom live in the vicinity of Springfield, Mo.
