Funeral services for Lettie Burden Fisher, 80, of Lufkin will be held Monday, August 21, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the Ryan Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Fisher was born January 27, 1926 in Center, Texas, to Loma (White) and Robert Leroy Jackson, and died Saturday, August 19, 2006 in a local hospital. Mrs. Fisher was a homemaker and resided in Lufkin all of her life. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Billy and Donna Burden of Jacksonville and James and Wanda Burden of Colmesneil; 4 grandchildren; sister, Ruby Thompson of Lufkin; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home. Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home, Lufkin, directors.
