Dorothy L. Lingg, 73, 437 Queen Street, Gettysburg, died Tuesday at her home.

Born in Gettysburg, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Jennie (McSherry) Hoffman. She was the wife of Earl V. Lingg.

She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Joseph Liller of Gettysburg; three grandchildren; and two sisters, Catherine Baker of Gettysburg; and Marie Shrader of Irishtown.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 9: 15 a.m. with a meeting at the Peters Funeral Home in Gettysburg, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. with the Rosary at 8 p.m.
