GETTYSBURG - Jennie A. Hoffman, 95, of 303 S. Washington St., died Friday, August 3, 1984, at Hanover Hall Nursing Home, Hanover. Her husband, Walter W. Hoffman, died in 1960.
Born in Adams County, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Julie Shealer McSherry. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.She is survived by three daughters: Mrs. William E. Shrader of New Oxford, Mrs. Earl Linstfef Gettysburg, and Mrs. Donald Baker of Get-tysburg; 14 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be Tuesday, meeting at the Monahan Funeral Home, Gettysburg, at 9:15 a.m. to go to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian burial with the Rev. Kenneth Lawrence officiating.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery.The viewing will be Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. The rosary rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
