Eva Bays 87, of Franklin Furance,died Wednesday, April 10, 1996
at Fountain Head Nursing Home in Franklin Furance. She was born July 8, 1980 in Magoffin County, Ky, to the late Seles and Susie LeMaster Blanton. She was of the baptist faith and a former employee of Fountainhead Nursing Home in Franklin Furance. she was also preceded in death by her husband, John Alfred Bays who died April 1, 1985. They were married Dec.3, 1917 in Paintsville, Ky. She is survived by two children; Johnny Bays and Betty Brown; Two brothers; Walter Blanton and Paul Blanton, both of Portsmouth; one sister; Irene Ost of Franklin Furance; sevearl grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren. she was also preceded in death by two sisters;
Betty Valentine and Rose Spradlin; two brothers John Blanton and Mack Blanton.
Services were held Saturday, April 13, 1996 at 11 a.m. at Harrison Funeral Home with Rev Ronnie Blevins. Burial in Junior Furance Cemetery.
