Miss Owens Dies; Rites Tomorrow
Mathews, Feb. 16 - Miss Nannie Eliza Owens, 72, died at her home at Port Haywood Wednesday night. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the Forrest Funeral Home and will be conducted by the Rev. F. W. England, pastor of St. Paul's and Beulah Methodist churches. Interment will be in Friendship cemetery.
Miss Owens is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Mary S. Callis, Mrs. Emma S. Brooks, and Miss Fannie L. Owens of Port Haywood; and a brother, William E. Owens of Eastville.
