ROCKDALE — Graveside services for Edith Alford Brown, 92, of Austin are set for 11 a.m. Monday at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery in Houston.
Greg Fenn will officiate.
Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale.
Mrs. Brown died Friday at her home.
She was born in Milam County and had lived in Austin for six years. She was formerly of Houston and worked as a library clerk at the Methodist Hospital in Houston for 16 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mason William Brown.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Harold L. and Dorothy Brown of Houston; a daughter and son-in-law, Marolyn and Kenneth R. Robertson Sr. of Austin; three brothers, Oliver Franklin Alford of Marlin, Texas, Weldon Alford of Rockdale and Wilburn Alford of Austin; a sister, June Fenn of Lufkin, Texas; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Hospice Austin.
