Prominent Malesus Resident Passed Away Monday Night At His Home
W. C. Black, 90, prominent farmer of the Malesus section, passed away there following an illness of compilations, the past several days of which his condition had been considered as quite serious. Mr. Black had resided in this section for many years and was a member of the Malesus Methodist Church.
Deceased is survived by two sons, W. M. and P. H. Black, both of this city, and four daughters, Mrs. C. W. Wooten, Mrs. J. A. Day and Mrs. J. H. Peters of Jackson, and Miss Pearl Black of Malesus.
The funeral will be held Wednesday morning at 10:30 at the Malesus Methodist Church by the Rev. W. D. Pickens and the interment will follow in the Ebenezer cemetery.
The following will serve as pallbearers: Harold and James Black, Warren Gilliam, Fred Day, Billy Hall and Kenneth Wooten. Griffin Funeral Home in charge.
