Nina Lorice Calvert, 82, of Jefferson City died Wednesday, March 19, 1997, at
Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 22, at Robinson Funeral Home
in Ashland with Elder Wallace Johnson officiating. Burial will be in New Salem
Cemetery in Ashland. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 22,
at the funeral home.
Mrs. Calvert was born Dec. 9, 1914, in Wilmar, Ark., to Hugh Coleman and Lela
Verna Tranthan Burnett.
She married James Calvert on Oct. 21, 1939, in Columbia, and he preceded her
in death.
Survivors include a brother, Hugh Burnett of Ashland; and two sisters,
Geraldine Schuelein of Jefferson City and Anna Beth Vanderfeltz of Odessa.
She was also preceded in death by a son, a brother and a sister.
